We spent Christmas vacations with friends and family along the pacific coast here in Mexico. We were in Puerto Escondido, Playa Azul and Manzanillo. We enjoyed God's amazing creation and wonderful times with people we love. The boys loved the water.

Before Christmas, Juan's company did major cutbacks and restructuring. His position was part of that. We are trusting the Lord...He has never failed us. Not once. These are exciting times to see what He does next. The truth we stand on is:

Isaiah 31:1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD.

Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

We are at an interesting crossroad right now...stay tuned for details and enjoy the pics.

Happy 4th of July

I hope you all enjoyed this very special holiday. I said to my Mom that the 4th is the day I hate most being out of the the US. There's not a greater country in the world. I love being in Mexico, but I am really proud to be an American and truly love the USA. Hope you do too.

Diego turned 2 on June 29. His piñata was as big
as he is. He didn't want to take the sucker out of
his mouth to blow out his candle.

As you can see...it was a long day and this is
how it ended. Crashed on the floor.

This is not in order but...
Ian turned 3 on April 28...we had so much fun..he enjoyed
hitting the Elmo piñata...and Mommy made the cake.
He was so proud of it (Mommy too!)

Florida May 08
We had a great 10 days with Grandma Bonnie and Cricket. We're ready to go back.

Ian and Deigo on Easter Morning.

I invited the neighbor kids to come and decorate Easter cookies and color eggs. I then shared the resurrection eggs with them. I'm sure it was the first time many heard the truth of Easter. We had 30 kids here...Lots of fun and praying that we planted some seeds.

Christmas 2007

Ian decided to "color" his brother..Diego didn't mind. Praise God for washable crayons.

We busted out the pool this weekend...and had a ball... believe it or not Daddy even got in with them. Those pictures are inappropiate for viewers of this site! :)

VIVA MEXICO! Sept. 15 we celebrate Mexico's independence day and Juan made them into little "Zapata's".

Ian made this all by himself...Daddy (the engineer) was pretty proud.

We went to Veracruz
for a few days and had
a great time relaxing.
The boys LOVED the
pool!

We celebrated 3 years of marriage June 26. God's been abundantly good to us. He's been faithful to His Word and His promises in our life. He's blessed us in every way. He's restored the joy of our salvation after the storms. And He is doing a new thing with us as it says in Isaiah...bringing to completion the good works He planned in advance for us. To Him be all the Glory!

Our friend Karla took
some pictures for us.
What fun!

mmmm, my cake was
yummy!!!!!

I'm ONE!!!! We celebrated

Diego's birthday with friends

and family. Grandma Bonnie

came to visit too!
